One table, two jobs
The adjustable legs are what set this table apart from our standard 6-foot and 8-foot banquet tables. Drop them down and you have a proper kids' table at a height children can actually reach, which beats seating little ones at an adult table where their chins clear the edge by an inch.
Set at full height it works like any other 6-foot banquet table: gift tables, food service, drink stations, or a check-in table at the entrance. Because it does both jobs, it is a useful table to have a couple of in the mix when your guest list spans ages.
How many to rent
A 6-foot table seats about six adults comfortably, or eight if people are willing to sit close. At kid height you can fit more children around the same footprint, since they take up less room per seat.
Pair these with our children's chairs or children's garden chairs to complete the kids' area. Rented together, the low table and small chairs make a corner of the party that belongs to the children, which tends to keep them in one place and off the adult seating.
Tables and chairs rent as a full-day rental rather than the standard 6-hour window, so you are not rushing setup or teardown around a clock. They are one of the easiest line items to scale to your headcount.
