The default choice for a reason
White folding chairs are the workhorse of event seating. They are the most affordable seating we rent, and white goes with every color scheme, which means you are not locked into a palette when you book months ahead of the event.
They suit weddings, bridal and baby showers, graduation parties, church events, and family reunions equally well. If you want something dressier for a reception, Chiavari chairs are the step up. If you want these to look more finished without the jump in price, add chair covers and sashes in your colors.
Planning your chair count
Count every adult you expect, then add a few. The number people most often get wrong is the parents who stay at a children's party, and running short on seating is more noticeable than having a few extra chairs stacked against the fence.
If the event has both a ceremony and a meal in different spots, remember that chairs usually need to move between them, so plan who is doing that or rent enough for both areas.
